Prepare Your Samsung Galaxy S23

The Samsung Galaxy S series is the preferred device for our company.  As we distribute these devices to employees, we take the time to walk learners through steps for a consistent and smooth setup.  

Problem:

Employees have not been able to set up their Galaxy devices correctly or in unison with others.   This differentiation has led to frustration, misuse, and the inability for the device to function optimally for our company.

Solution:

An ILT session with an instructor and a group of employees was deemed to be the most effective mode of instruction.  Training will walk users through the setup step-by-step while allowing learners to check-in with each other and complete several formative activities.  This creates a consistent experience and uniform interactions with the device. 

Result:

Frustration with the device has been minimized by both the module and cohorts of employees that formed during training.  Collaboration increased amongst employees about uses for the device that have increased productivity.  Also, 100% of necessary apps are being used on devices and the Galaxy's have been set up correctly.   Also, as a side note, employees have enjoyed customizing the phones and sharing their setups with each other!

• Turn and talk sessions for learners to help and influence collaboration.

• A Google Form is used for feedback.

• The above Google Form also acts as a summative assessment to ensure that learners have set up the phone and accounts correctly.
